The UKIP candidates for Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire have been busy out on the campaign trail ahead of the elections.

MEP Candidates Mike Hookem MEP, Gary Shores, John Hancock, David Dews and Cliff Parsons were all out meeting and speaking to voters across the region.

They have been in Wakefield, Rotherham, Huddersfield and Doncaster among other places.

Commenting on a hectic series of events, number two list Candidate Gary Shores said: “The warm welcome over the past couple of days has been amazing.

“Our message is clear, we want a complete exit from the EU and time and time again we hear the same thing from members of the public: They don't want May’s ’deal’ and they are sick to their stomach at the wilful betrayal of their vote by the establishment political class.”

UKIP has been campaigning to leave the EU for 27 years. In order to Make Brexit Happen, voters were urged to vote for UKIP on Thursday.
