There was a great response in Preston when the North West campaign hit the streets with a stall and leafleting.
Lead UKIP candidate for the region, Adam Richardson, said: “We had a really positive response on the ground in Preston.
“We heard time and time again that Labour did not represent the working class and that people would be voting for UKIP.”
Many people had already sent off their postal votes with the cross in the box for UKIP.
Adam added: “It's quite clear that the legacy parties have left the people of this country behind and UKIP is now the only credible option to make much-needed change for regular people."
