Today Theresa May is to meet Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz and Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš to discuss the Brexit process. It seems that Mrs May is looking for one more Brexit humiliation before she goes on holiday.
It’s been revealed that the Prime Minister will be going on not one, but two holidays at a critical time for our country. The Prime Minister is known to be fond of holidays in the UK, but this time her destinations are Switzerland and Italy – far away from the angry 17.4 million Britons who voted for Brexit. Theresa May and her failing government have left the nation in the lurch.
UKIP Leader Gerard Batten commented on Theresa May’s holiday plans:
“Theresa May is taking two holidays in August while Brexit is in crisis. She should be focussing on leading Britain out of the EU. If she had actually set about Brexit in the way UKIP has been describing for years, the job would have been done long before, and we could all be enjoying an extended summer break. Instead of that, we are no closer to actually leaving the EU than we were on 24th June 2016.
“Mrs May should go on a permanent holiday and hand over to someone who actually wants Britain to leave the EU.”
