  • Providing support, information, and a political voice for veterans of the UK Armed Forces, Intelligence and Security Services, Police, other law enforcement agencies, and civil defence organizations.
  • Serving military who are members of UKIP

Constitution

The Veteran's SIG Constitution is the group’s governing document and as such represents the Rulebook for the way in which the group will operate.


The UKIP Veterans Group constitution is based on that which applies to Special Interest Groups (SIGs) within the UK Independence Party (UKIP):


  • Will not hold significant assets or resources.
  • Does not require limited liability for trustees.
  • Has a membership
  • Is to be run by a voluntary management committee which will be elected by members at an AGM to hold office for a fixed term.
  • Wishes to carry out its work wholly or partly through voluntary effort and contributions of its members.

Adopting the constitution

The constitution was adopted on 17th October 2021.
