NEC Election 2019: Results

The results of the 2019 NEC election have now been released.
The successful candidates are:

There were seven vacancies this year following resignations from the NEC. The four candidates with the highest number of votes (Nicole Bushill, Freddy Vachha, Roger Arthur and Mike Shaw) are entitled to serve on the NEC for three years or until the 2022 NEC elections, Joel McGuigan until the 2021 elections, and Patricia Mountain and Elizabeth Jones until the 2020 elections.
This was the party’s first-ever electronic election. The count was conducted by an independent organisation, Simply Voting, and I am satisfied that the election was overall conducted in a fair manner within the party rules.
