My name is Janice MacKay. My career background was 30 plus years in financial services, before moving to retail for 6 years until finally retiring last September.

I have been a member of the United Kingdom Independence Party for over 20 years and it has been an honour to belong to a Political Party which achieved what it set out to do by leaving the clutches of the European Union, albeit not getting the Brexit deal we all so much wished and hoped for. We still have a lot of work to do.

During my membership of this great Party I have been privileged to stand as a UKIP candidate in all levels of elections since from local council by elections, Parliamentary By elections, General Elections and not forgetting the European elections pre 2016.

Yet UKIP is not just about Brexit. We are the party of Brexit and Beyond with our pragmatic policies. UKIP offers a return to sensible low immigration levels, an end to gender confusion lessons in schools, protection for the countryside against rampant development. and hate speech laws and guidelines which have eroded freedom of expression.

I am passionate about the United Kingdom. Westminster is sovereign and UKIP unequivocally supports the Union of Great Britain.
