Welcome to the newly minted Sussex Weald.

Wealden as a parliamentary constituency has been supplanted by the introduction of three new constituencies to more fairly balance the numbers, we are told.

Wealden will continue to be the District Council.

Chris Magness has been a parish councillor within Wealden for the past 8 years and has listened to and responded to concerns of parishioners within the parish over this time and through the Council Cluster groups to all Wealden parish councils.

There are common themes of concern and aspirations running through all local parishes involving; cost of living, water supply and disposal, energy supply choice and costs, transport and the seemingly never ending pot holes, broadband and connectivity and the ubiquitous over development; all local symptoms of a deeper malaise where the causes lie much further up the Babelian chain.
